Bridging The Gap
To Fill Unmet Needs

Working Towards a Brighter Future

Community Resource Network at a Glance

The Community Resource Network is a community engagement platform that focuses on firming up safety nets and expanding opportunities.
The CRN aligns services, connects resources to fill unmet needs for community members, and accelerates impact by utilizing private sector innovation, leveraging public sector resources and mobilizing social service networks.

Why CRN?

Galaxux started CRN by asking these questions

  • What happens when service referrals are not met?

  • Where can I access community-level data to inform my organization?

  • How can I share my organizational strengths to help out, where we can?

  • If I have resources or an event to share, how might I most efficiently communicate that to our partners today?

  • What if I can’t wait for the next community partners meeting to ask for an urgent client’s need at the moment?

  • How we can provide real-time updates and help mobilize resources and volunteers quickly during emergency and non-emergency events.

Seek Resources

Seek resources for unmet needs. For example, you are working with an individual or a family and encounter a service gap. You could use the CRN to try and fill their unmet needs.

Share Resources

Share resources or goods. For example, you could share surplus school supplies with those in need. CRN members can arrange pick up or delivery directly.

Events

Provide real-time updates and help mobilize resources and volunteers quickly during emergency and non-emergency events.

WOW... I'm overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from this community. I had many people respond to this request within minutes. Thank you to everyone who offered to help.
